Full Garden Design Service

We work collaboratively with our clients, listening to their specific requirements to ensure that the garden design brief is clear and is interpreted correctly in the final concept. Our aim is to reflect as closely as possible the tastes and style of the client’s home so that there is a strong visual relationship between the inside and outside spaces.

Consultation

Our qualified garden designer will book a consultation to come to talk to you about your ideas and what you would like from your new garden.

Survey
If and when you’re happy to go ahead we will start by either doing a detailed survey ourselves or recommend a land surveyor that we have used for years. For larger scale gardens or difficult terrain and levels we recommend you go with our contact who has specific laser equipment that will survey your garden to the minutest detail. Remember this is the most important part of the design process so it’s best to get it done with tools that will eat those tricky landscapes for breakfast! We will then use this survey to get to work designing a beautiful landscape for you to enjoy!

We will then send you out a quote based on how much the project should cost from start to finish with any option of the process editable at this point.

Design
We start by producing beautiful CAD drawings to scale, of your garden with its new look! Any amendments will again be made at this point to get it to how you would like it, but once finalised there will be a £22 per hour charge to make any additions. This is to save us time, but most of all it will help you to focus on exactly what you want and save you money in the long run!

Build
Once the design is confirmed, we will then put in place our schedule for the build process. We handle the full build from start to finish, liasing with contractors and suppliers whilst regularly keeping our client informed of our progress.

Although we do cover most aspects of landscaping from within our team we only use qualified and trusted tradesmen throughout the whole design, planting, construction and maintenance (as you can see in our blog). We are passionate about nature, construction and every specialist skill that we possess and believe that in order to live it you have to love it, and thats exactly what we do!

Fast Track Sketch Design

We have found that giving a flexible option to our design clients allows anyone to feel free to call up for even the smallest detail that needs a rethink.

Please note: This option is only for smaller gardens or small sections to be designed. A full survey will need to be carried out for a full redesign of larger properties.

Consultation
A personal consultation to talk through your requirements.
Please note: To cover ourselves for time and petrol this is charged at £22 per hour and is to be made payable on the day of consultation. This however will be refunded if you decide to go ahead with the design.

Survey
We will take a rough survey to give us a good idea of the space we’re going to be working with.

Photographs will be taken of the space to be redesigned so we have a visual reference of the site.

Design
Our designers will create a colour sketch of the space with the new garden concept as a perspective drawing to give you an idea of how the new design will look. Any amendments are charged by the hour. This is a often used for smaller projects with a quick turn around time, allowing for a cost effective yet carefully sketched design in a matter of days. We will also provide you with a full plant list for you to look over at your convenience.

Planning
All confirmed aspects of this process which are to be implemented from hard landscaping to planting and, if required, ongoing maintenance.

We want to make it as easy and accessible as possible for our clients once they’re on board; this is why we charge a highly competitive flat rate for sketches and consultations so you’ll always know what you’re paying for without any hidden extras.
